CURD KOZHAMPU VADA

HI FRIENDS,

INGREDIENTS:

  • ToorDhall - 2 Tablespoon
  • Curd - 1/2 Cup
  • RawRice - 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Onion - 2
  • GreenChilly - 2
  • Ginger - 1/2 inch
  • Garlic - 2 Cloves
  • DryChilly - 1
  • Asafoetida - 1/4 teaspoon
  • MustardSeeds - 1/2 Teaspoon
  • CurryLeaves - few
  • TurmericPowder - 1/4 Teaspoon
TO PREPARE VADA:

                How to prepare vada

PREPARATION:
  • Soak ToorDhall and Rawrice for half an hour.
  • GrindSoakedToorDhall,Rawricewith Ginger,Garlic,GreenChilly,Curd.
  • Chop the Onions.
  • In a pan,Put 2 Tablespoon oil and heat,Put Mustard Seed,after Splutters add Dry Chilly and CurryLeaves,then onion and fry.
  • Add Asafoetida and Turmeric Powder to it and mix well.
  • Then add Grind Dhall Mixture and two cups of Water.
  • Mix well without lumps.
  • Boil well till the raw smell goes off.
  • Then it will be somehow Thick,Then add Vada to it.Dip it fully.
  • Garnish with Finely Chopped Coriander Leaves.
  • Serve with Idly,Dosa,Rice.
