Channa Masala

Hi Friends,

I always like channa masala with poori or chapathi.In my childhood days when go to hotels,i prefer to order chola poori and channa masala.It comes with big poori of white color with this yummy channa masala.so i started cooking i like to prepare channa masala.after long time of experience i am presenting this yummy channa masala.Hope fully you all enjoy this channa masala.Do try it and post your feedback as comments.......:)

Andhra Besarat

Got bore with usual Dosa......Try this new Green gram dhall Dosa called "Besarat".Hope you all will enjoy with this Besarat....:)


Ingredients:


Green Gram - 250 GramsOnion - 2Green Chilly - 2Ginger - 1 InchCumin Seeds - 1 TeaspoonSalt - To Taste
Preparation:

Soak Green Gram for 10 Hours.Wash it.Grind Green gram with One Onion,Ginger,Green Chilly.When you Grind it will grind quickly,even then should grind for some more time.Take Grinded Batter in a Bowl and add salt for taste and mix well.Finely Chop the remaining Onion.Temper Cumin seeds in 1 Teaspoon Oil with Finely chopped onion and saute.Keep it aside.Take a tawa pan,Grease it with Oil and pour some grind batter and spread it as thick surface.Apply oil around the spreaded batter.Sprinkle the sauted onion over the besarat.If one side cooked then turn it and cook other side till golden brown.Now hot besarat is ready.Serve with any Chutney.

Potato Masala for Poori

Potato Masala for Puffy Poori......

Ingredients:

Potato - 2Onion - 1Tomato - 1/2(optional)Garlic - 1 podsGreen Chilly - 2Curry Leaves - FewCoriander Leaves(Finely Chopped) - To GarnishUrad dhal & Channa Dhal mixed - 1 TeaspoonMustard Seeds - 1/2 TeaspoonOil - 1 TablespoonChilly powder - 1/4 TeaspoonSalt - As NeededPreparation: Wash potatoes and cut into halves and pressure cook for two whistle.Peel off the skin and smash the potatoes.Finely Chop onion,tomato,garlic,green chilly.Take a pan,heat oil,put mustard seeds,after splutters put urad dhal and channa dhal and stir till golden brown.Add onion,green chilly,garlic and saute.when the onion become transparent then put tomato and salt.After tomato smashed add chilly powder and smashed potato into it and mix well.If need water add for better consistency.stir well.When bubbles come,Stir and garnish with finely chopped coriander leaves.Serve Hot with Puffy Poori.

Cauliflower - 1 FullyOnion - 1Tomato -1Ginger- Garlic Paste - 1 TeaspoonBlack Pepper - 1 TeaspoonFennel Seeds/Saunf - 1/2 TeaspoonCurry Leaves - One Hand FullChilly Powder - 1 TeaspoonTurmeric Powder - 1/4 TeaspoonSalt - To TasteOil - 1 Tablespoon
Preparation:
Cut the Cauliflower as floret size and put in hot water,leave for 5 minutes and transfer into cold water.Strain Cauliflower without water.Finely Chop the Onion and Tomato.Take a pan,Do dry fry the following items black pepper,fennel seeds,curry leaves.Grind the fried items coarsely.Take a pan,heat 1 Tablespoon of oil and Put onion and saute till Golden Brown.Then add Cauliflower and saute till raw smell goes off.Add tomato and GG Paste.Wait till the tomato cook well then add salt and Chilly Powder.Mix well and little water.Close with lid and wait to cook.After it cooked well mix once add the fried grind items.Mix well and serve.Serve as Side Dish for rice …

Ingredients:

Avacoda  - 1Milk - 1/2 CupWater - 1/2 CupSugar - To Taste

Preparation: Cut the avacoda vertically around the fruit and twist then open.Remove the single seed and Get the flesh of the friut using spoon.Take a mixer and Put all ingredients except water and grind smoothly.Add water and again on the mixer.Keep it in refrigerator and serve it cool.

Ghee Rice

Hi Friends,

This Post gives you Delicious Ghee Rice.


Ingredients:

Basmathi Rice - 1 CupGhee - 2 TablespoonOnion - 1(Slice it Vertically)Fennel Seeds/Saunf - 1/2 TeaspoonCinnamon - 1 StickCloves - 2Cardamom - 1Bay Leaves - 1Green Chilly - 1Mint Leaves(Finely Chopped) - 1 TeaspoonSalt - To Taste Cashewnuts - 2 Tablespoon
Preparation:

Soak Rice for 10 Minutes.Heat Pan and put ghee,wait till it melts.Put all Spices into ghee,After Splutters,Put Onion to it.Saute it till Golden Brown.Put Green Chilly and Mix.Now add finely chopped mint leaves to it.Add required salt to it.Drain the Soaked rice and to it.Mix well without break the rice.Add 1:2 ratio of water and make it boil then close it with lid.Cook in Sim Flame for 5 minutes.After cooked well,Open the lid and mix well and add Fried Cahewnuts to it and mix well.Now Ghee Rice is Ready to Serve.Serve with any Gravy.

Puffy Poori

Hi Friends,

Everyone will definitely like to prepare poori puffy.....
But it can't most of the time.....
Here after you all can prepare puffy poori Happily with few tricks......:)


Ingredients:

Wheat Flour - 1 cupSalt - As You NeedWarm Water - As you need to make tight BatterOil - to fry And one Teaspoon in Flour
Preparation:

Take a Bowl and put the Wheat flour and Salt,Heat one teaspoon of Cooking oil and put into the Wheat flour. Knead the flour with warm water tightly.It should not be loose,If so it absorb more oil.Apply little oil and keep it for half an hour.After half an Hour,take the dough and press fully and make the dough into small balls.Flatten the balls using the roll.It should not be so thin or so thick.Take a pan,Heat oil to deep fry.After the oil heated,put the flatten dough slowly into the oil.Using Spatula,lightly press over the Poori to immerse into the oil.Turn into other side and Strain oil and take it from oil.Now Puffy Poori is ready to Serve.It can be Serve with Pot…

Beans - 250 gmsChanna Dhall - 1/2 CupSaunf or Fennel Seeds - 1 TeaspoonDry Red Chilly - 2Asafoetida - One PinchSalt - As you neededMustard Seeds - 1/4 TeaspoonOil - 1 Teaspoon
Preparation:

Soak Channa Dhall for 8 Hours.Finely Chop Beans.Pressure Cook Channa Dhall for 3 Whistle.Boil Chopped Beans Separately.Strain water from Channa Dhall and Grind with Saunf,Dry Red Chilly Coarsely.Strain water from cooked Beans and keep aside.Take a pan,heat one Teaspoon of oil,Put mustard Seeds,After Splutters, Add Grinded Channa Mixture.Mix tell and Saute till it get Separate.Add Asafoetida,Salt and mix well.Then Add Cooked Beans to it and Mix Well.Mix till it get dry and separate.Serve Hot.

Ingredients: Dosa Batter - 1 cupEgg - 1Shallots - 10(finely chopped)Tomato - small 1GreenChilly - 1Chilly Powder - 1/2 TeaspoonSalt - As neededTurmericPowder - one pinchCoriander leaves - Finely Chopped 1 Teaspoon

Preparation:


Saute Shallots,Tomato,Green Chilly in a pan with one Teaspoon Oil.Beat Egg in  Bowl.Mix Sauted items,Egg,Salt,Turmeric Powder,Chilly Powder with Dosa Batter.Add Coriander Leaves and Mix well,Make consistency of Dosa Batter.Heat Tawa and Grease it with Oil.Put some batter to it and Spread like Dosa.Cook Well for both sides with Golden Brown.

FOR ROLL:

Bread - 10All Purpose Flour or Maida - 1/4 cupCorn Flour - 1 TeaspoonBread Crumbs - 1 CupSalt - littleOil - To Fry

ToorDhall - 2 TablespoonCurd - 1/2 CupRawRice - 1/2 TeaspoonOnion - 2GreenChilly - 2Ginger - 1/2 inchGarlic - 2 ClovesDryChilly - 1Asafoetida - 1/4 teaspoonMustardSeeds - 1/2 TeaspoonCurryLeaves - fewTurmericPowder - 1/4 TeaspoonTO PREPARE VADA:
How to prepare vada
PREPARATION: Soak ToorDhall and Rawrice for half an hour. GrindSoakedToorDhall,Rawricewith Ginger,Garlic,GreenChilly,Curd. Chop the Onions. In a pan,Put 2 Tablespoon oil and heat,Put Mustard Seed,after Splutters add Dry Chilly and CurryLeaves,then onion and fry. Add Asafoetida and Turmeric Powder to it and mix well. Then add Grind Dhall Mixture and two cups of Water. Mix well without lumps. Boil well till the raw smell goes off. Then it will be somehow Thick,Then add Vada to it.Dip it fully. Garnish with Finely Chopped Coriander Leaves. Serve with Idly,Dosa,Rice.

This post gives you tasty and Delicious Masala Vadai.


INGREDIENTS:

Bengal Gram - 1 CupOnion - 1Green Chilly -2Ginger - 1 inchGarlic - 2 ClovesCurry leaves - FewCoriander leaves - 2 Teaspoon(Finely Chopped)Mint Leaves - 2 Tablespoon(Finely Chopped)Salt - For TasteOil - To fryPREPARATION: Soak Bengal gram for 2 hours.Grind Soaked Bengal gram with Ginger and Garlic.Leave one teaspoon of Soaked bengal gram without grind.Finely Chop Onion,Curry leaves,Coriander leaves,Mint leaves.Mix grind Bengal gram with one teaspoon soaked bengal gram and all finely chopped items with required  Salt.In a pan,heat oil for deep fry,Take small amount of batter and make it round and flat and put it in hot oil and fry till golden brown.When you put vadai in oil,the oil should be hot.Immediately the flame should be in mid till you get the vadai golden brown.Do the same for all the batter. Now,Hot and tasty Vadai is ready.

HI FRIENDS,

INGREDIENTS:


Palak - 1 bunchPaneer - 200 GmsOnion - 1Tomato - 1GreenChilly - 2Coriander Powder - 1 TablespoonKasuri Methi - 1/4 TeaspoonSalt - As you NeedButter - To Saute
FOR DRY  GRIND: Pepper - 1 TeaspoonCumin Seeds - 1/2 TeaspoonCinnamon - 1Cloves - 1Cardamom - 1
PREPARATION: Clean and Remove Center Part of the Palak leaves.Wash Completely.Take a pan and add Clean and Washed Palak and boil.No need to add water to it,Because while wash it has some  water.Boil till the Leaves become Smaller.Make it cool and grind as fine with little water.Fry all the ingredients those given under DRY GRIND and grind it with out water,like powder.
Finely Chop the onion and Tomato.
Take a pan,Add Butter,after it melts add onions.

After the onions becomes golden brown,add Coriander Powder and Stir well.
Flavors comes add tomato and little salt.
After tomato mashed add remaining salt and grinded Palak.

Add KasuriMethi now.
Stir well and add Grinded Powder.
Mix well and boil till the raw smell goes off.
