Ghee Rice

Hi Friends,

This Post gives you Delicious Ghee Rice.


Ingredients:

  • Basmathi Rice - 1 Cup
  • Ghee - 2 Tablespoon
  • Onion - 1(Slice it Vertically)
  • Fennel Seeds/Saunf - 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Cinnamon - 1 Stick
  • Cloves - 2
  • Cardamom - 1
  • Bay Leaves - 1
  • Green Chilly - 1
  • Mint Leaves(Finely Chopped) - 1 Teaspoon
  • Salt - To Taste 
  • Cashewnuts - 2 Tablespoon

Preparation:

  • Soak Rice for 10 Minutes.
  • Heat Pan and put ghee,wait till it melts.
  • Put all Spices into ghee,After Splutters,Put Onion to it.
  • Saute it till Golden Brown.Put Green Chilly and Mix.
  • Now add finely chopped mint leaves to it.
  • Add required salt to it.
  • Drain the Soaked rice and to it.Mix well without break the rice.
  • Add 1:2 ratio of water and make it boil then close it with lid.
  • Cook in Sim Flame for 5 minutes.
  • After cooked well,Open the lid and mix well and add Fried Cahewnuts to it and mix well.
  • Now Ghee Rice is Ready to Serve.Serve with any Gravy.
